Common Questions
Do I need an account?
No. Renew Guard works locally on your device and does not require sign-in.
Why does the app ask for Photos access?
Only if you choose to import a confirmation screenshot for OCR-based auto-fill.
Why does the app ask for Calendar access?
Only if you choose to add a renewal reminder event to your calendar.
Why is the widget blank?
Open the app after adding or editing subscriptions so the widget timeline can refresh with the latest data.
Why am I not getting reminders?
Make sure notifications are enabled for Renew Guard in iOS Settings, then use the app’s Settings screen to reschedule reminders.
