Profile Compare places two saved soundings on the same pressure grid, showing changes in temperature, dewpoint and wind with an exportable evidence trail.

HOW TO USE THE UPGRADE
1. Open Compare and select two saved profiles. Import your own soundings through the existing library if needed.
2. Inspect shared pressure levels and temperature, dewpoint and vector-wind differences. Missing coverage stays visibly missing.
3. Share the frozen report or export the CSV, including source fingerprints and the matching method.

Keep the offline sounding library, imports, Skew-T diagrams, profile editing and parcel-analysis tools.

WHAT TO KNOW
The grid spans 1000–100 hPa at 25 hPa intervals. Interpolation is linear in log pressure between original adjacent levels no more than 150 hPa apart. There is no extrapolation or interpolation across missing values. These are profile comparisons, not a forecast or flight decision. The gap threshold is an app design choice.
