Entitybraid is a private, local audit casebook for Home Assistant automation YAML.

Import a current or legacy automation file and an optional state snapshot. Preserve immutable revisions, inspect dependency topology, read nested semantics at exact YAML source paths, and compare a candidate before it reaches a live home.

- Regression compares baseline and candidate semantics, findings, dependencies, emitted intents, and saved scenario outcomes
- Handoff applies granular redaction and creates a PDF report, Markdown brief, versioned JSON, findings CSV, dependency CSV, scenario matrix CSV, and revision-diff CSV

BOUNDARIES YOU CAN TRUST
Entitybraid performs local static analysis only. It does not connect to Home Assistant, execute Jinja, validate live integrations, or send runtime commands. Templates and unsupported constructs remain visible and are marked indeterminate rather than guessed.

Imported YAML, snapshots, cases, and scenarios stay in the app container unless you deliberately export them. There is no account, advertising, analytics, tracking, subscription, in-app purchase, or developer-operated server.

Entitybraid is an independent compatibility utility and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Open Home Foundation or Nabu Casa. YAML parsing uses Yams 6.2.2 under the MIT License; attribution is included in the app.
