Racktrace is a private, offline map of your homelab: every rack in real rack units, every device and port, every cable label, your VLAN and IP plan, and the power budget on each PDU and UPS. It works on your own data, on your iPhone or iPad, with no server to run.

EVERYTHING INCLUDED, ONE PRICE
No subscription, no ads, no account. CSV import and export, backups, PDF documentation and unlimited racks, devices, cables and addresses are all part of the app.

RACK ELEVATIONS IN REAL U
- Racks from 1U to 60U with front elevations drawn to scale
- Place devices by bottom U and height; 0U for vertical PDUs
- Overlap and out-of-range warnings, free units and largest free block
- Tap an empty unit to add a device there, or let Racktrace find the first free space

POWER BUDGET PER PDU AND UPS
- Record each device's draw and what it is plugged into, including dual power supplies
- Load in watts and VA against each PDU or UPS rating, with headroom and 80% warnings
- "If partner feed fails" check for redundant A/B power
- UPS runtime estimate from battery Wh, heat in BTU/h, monthly kWh and electricity cost
- Adjustable power factor, inverter efficiency and continuous-load limit

PORTS, CABLES AND LABELS
- Port map for every switch, server and patch panel, showing what each port connects to
- Cables with label, both ends, media, colour and length; free-text ends for wall jacks
- Sequential labels (C-001, C-002…) and a printable sheet of cable wrap labels

IP AND VLAN INVENTORY
- VLANs with subnets in CIDR form, gateway, usage bar and next free address
- Static IPs, DHCP reservations and virtual IPs linked to devices
- Checks for duplicate IPs, addresses outside any subnet, overlapping subnets and gateways outside their subnet

WARRANTY AND SERVICE LOG
- Purchase and warranty dates with reminders on the Overview when a warranty is ending
- A dated service log per device with optional cost
- Checks with due dates for follow-ups

IMPORT, EXPORT AND BACKUP
- Import devices, cables or IP addresses from CSV; DHCP lease exports with IP, hostname and MAC columns work as-is
- Export everything to CSV
- One-file JSON backup and restore, with automatic safety copies before every import, restore or erase
- PDF documentation pack: summary, elevations, power budget, IP plan, cable list, labels and service log

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything stays on your device. Racktrace does not scan your network, connect to your equipment, or collect any data. Optional device photos use Apple's photo picker.

Racktrace is a documentation and planning tool. Power and runtime figures are estimates; check equipment nameplates and the manufacturer's runtime charts.
