Skywave collects nothing and connects to nothing. Location is optional and used only on-device to set your grid and sort nearby repeaters.

Bundled reference data is drawn from openly licensed public sources (HearHam repeater listing, GeoNames under CC-BY, CelesTrak/AMSAT public TLEs, the ITU call-sign series and the FCC/ARRL US band plan) and is attributed in-app. Link planning uses a free-space, smooth-earth model; terrain and HF skywave are not modeled.
