Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 11, 2026

Hush is designed to work locally on the device. It does not require an account, does not operate a hosted message inbox, and does not upload text to a Shadowfetch server.

What the app stores

Hush stores the user’s working text and settings locally on device only for the purpose of local encryption and decryption flows.

How encryption works

Text is encrypted and decrypted locally with a shared secret phrase. Hush is not a messaging network and does not deliver messages for the user.

Analytics and tracking

Hush does not include analytics SDKs, ad SDKs, fingerprinting, or cross-app tracking.

Data sharing

Shadowfetch does not sell, rent, or share Hush text because the app does not collect it on a vendor backend.
