Built honestly on Debian
Shadowfetch is a Debian-testing derivative. Security updates and 99% of the package archive come from upstream Debian. We layer on top — a curated default stack, a dark theme, a first-boot wizard, opinionated PipeWire/zram/earlyoom config — and that's it. We don't fork anything we don't have to.
If you've used Debian, you already know how to use Shadowfetch. apt works. dpkg works. Everything you can install on Debian, you can install here.
