Shadowfetch Linux

Privacy, power, and precision — from the depths.

Shadowfetch Linux is a creative workstation built honestly on Debian — KDE Plasma 6, themed end to end in shadow and gold. Private by default, agent-ready, with local AI built in — and every creative tool you'd otherwise spend a weekend installing already there, working, and themed.

Pick a Hugging Face model matched to your machine with shadowfetch-llm and run everything through Ollama — no cloud, no keys.

Already wired

Node, Python 3.13, git, ripgrep and ffmpeg are pre-installed, so agents install fast. Read the agent guide →

Built honestly on Debian

Shadowfetch is a Debian-testing derivative. Security updates and 99% of the package archive come straight from upstream Debian. We layer on top — a curated stack, the Umbra theme, a graphical installer, a first-boot wizard, private-by-default networking, and a one-command local-AI stack — and that's it. We don't fork anything we don't have to.

If you've used Debian, you already know how to use Shadowfetch. apt works. dpkg works. Everything you can install on Debian, you can install here.
