How does export work?
Receipts are scanned into PDFs on device, then exported through Apple’s Files system.
Can I rename the PDF before saving?
Yes. Receipt to PDF is built around a clean rename-and-save flow before export is finalized.
Does the app store receipts online?
No. The app is local-first and does not use a Shadowfetch cloud inbox.
Why does it need camera access?
Camera access is required to scan the receipt image before generating the PDF.
First things to check.
- Confirm camera permission is enabled if the scanner does not open.
- If export fails, verify the chosen Files destination is available and has enough free space.
- If the PDF looks weak, rescan with better contrast and flatter framing.
