Does the manager need the app?
No. The manager only needs the confirmation email or message the user sends from the app.
Do coworkers need the app?
Yes. The QR code and deep link are app-only and open the claim flow inside Shift Swap Liaison.
Does the app send anything automatically?
No. The app opens Apple’s system Mail, Messages, or share surfaces so the user confirms before anything is sent.
Does it connect to scheduling software?
No. Shift Swap Liaison is intentionally local-first and does not integrate with enterprise scheduling platforms.
First things to check.
- Make sure the teammate opening the link has Shift Swap Liaison installed.
- If a QR code is not recognized, retest with better camera focus and lighting.
