About Halyarde

Halyard is an offline maritime signal-flag studio for learning, composing, and practicing visual signals.

Type a word or short message and Halyard builds a vertical International Code of Signals flag hoist. Decode mode lets you tap flags and read them back. The new Signal Deck gives each hoist a practical training readout: flag count, word breaks, phonetic coverage, Morse coverage, urgent/caution flag notes, and a recommended drill.

What is included:

- Flag Hoist Composer for letters and numerals
- Decode mode for building a hoist by tapping flags
- Signal Deck training report for every hoist
- ICS alphabet flags and numeral pennants
- Semaphore reference for the alphabet
- NATO/ICAO phonetic alphabet reference
- Morse reference with bundled audio/haptic practice
- Recognition quiz for flags and semaphore
- Standards/source links inside Quick Reference
- Fully offline design with no account and no tracking

Halyard is designed for sailors, scouts, educators, signal enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to learn maritime visual communication. It is a reference and training app only. For real marine operations, follow current official publications and local authority instructions.

Everything stays on device. Halyard has no account system, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.
