Keep the idea. Test the tradeoff. Design Trials saves circuit variants inside the existing NAND-building campaign so you can compare correctness, gate count, delay and area under the same component costs.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open a circuit puzzle and choose the menu → Design Trials. Name and save the current bench. Incomplete designs can be saved too.
2. Keep up to eight trials per puzzle and 128 total in the local game save.
3. Choose Compare saved trials to run every trial against the full puzzle specification with a frozen component-cost snapshot.
4. Read PASS or FAIL, vectors run and cost metrics, then share the comparison report. This does not award progress or change the active bench.
5. Confirm Load onto bench to replace the current circuit with a saved trial. Save your current bench as another trial first if you want to preserve it.

Explore the existing campaign from NAND gates through logic, arithmetic, memory and processor concepts. Trials add a structured way to compare your own approaches.

WHAT TO KNOW
Trials are available for circuit puzzles, not assembly exercises. They are local snapshots, not a version-control service or cloud backup. Loading replaces the active draft after confirmation. Removing a trial does not delete other trials or campaign progress. Reports compare the game’s deterministic specification and cost model, not fabricated physical-chip performance.
