About Winston Scientific Calculator

Winston Scientific Calculator is a local-first calculator, graphing, and formula-reference app for iPhone and iPad. Everything runs on your device with no account requirement, no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no tracking.

Calculator
- Solve scientific expressions with full order of operations and implicit multiplication, including inputs like 2pi and 3(4).
- Switch DEG / RAD / GRAD angle modes from the main calculation surfaces. Radians is the default for calculus and physics workflows.
- Use trig, inverse trig, hyperbolic functions, factorial, exp, powers, roots, logarithms, modulo, gcd/lcm, permutations, combinations, reciprocal, percent, floor, ceil, round, and more.
- Keep M+, M-, MR, MC memory keys, an Ans last-result variable, and A-Z stored registers close at hand.
- Reuse calculation history with tap-to-reload, swipe-to-delete, and clear-all controls.

Result Audit
- Recheck the current expression with an independent parser pass.
- Review a verification score, residual, finite-result status, angle-mode context, and domain-sensitive warnings.
- Convert a result into decimal, scientific, rounded, and fraction forms where appropriate.
- Copy a concise audit report when you need to share the reasoning behind a result.

Graphing and Function Lab
- Plot f(x) with pinch-to-zoom, drag-to-pan, labeled gridlines, a draggable trace readout, and an optional second curve g(x).
- Estimate derivatives, second derivatives, definite integrals with error bounds, roots, extrema, inflection points, and sample tables.
- Copy a clean lab report from the Function Lab.

Pro Tools
- RPN stack calculator with Last X, swap, roll, and drop.
- Programmer mode for hexadecimal, decimal, octal, binary, bitwise operations, shifts, rotates, word sizes, and two's-complement signed values.
- Equation solver, exact fraction helper, complex number helper, statistics with linear regression, 17-category unit converter, CODATA 2022 constants library, and a searchable formula reference.

Winston Scientific is intended for general calculation, education, and reference workflows. Finance, physics, and engineering formulas are educational references and are not professional advice.
