NEW IN 4.0 — GROOVE BENCH
Extract the timing and velocity feel of a MIDI passage and apply it to another part. Save up to 64 local templates; choose independent timing and dynamics strengths, review the verified edit, compare original/edit audition and undo. Pitches and note durations stay intact. Empty reference cells leave target notes unchanged. PPQN files only; repeating cycles use quarter notes from file start, independently of time signature. Controllers and pedal events stay in place.

MAKE MUSICAL CORRECTIONS
Select tracks and channels, transpose by semitones, adjust note velocity, or move note starts toward straight and triplet timing grids. Variable quantize strength keeps partial timing adjustments possible. Drum protection excludes channel 10 from batch edits.

EDIT THE EXACT NOTE
Search by pitch, filter the note list, and page through long files. Change a note's pitch, velocity, start tick and duration. Review actual changed-note counts, timing movement and velocity limiting before saving. Ambiguous note overlaps and unsafe edits are blocked with an explanation.

KEEP THE ORIGINAL
Imported MIDI bytes stay unchanged. Editing sessions save locally with undo and redo that survive closing the app. Restore the original as an undoable step. History keeps up to 20 edits within a 48 MB budget, with the imported original retained separately. Damaged sessions are preserved for recovery.

LISTEN AND COMPARE
Hear the original or edited take from the beginning using the same neutral studio tone, with play, pause, stop and seeking. Audition helps compare notes and timing; it does not reproduce an external instrument's programs, drum sounds or SysEx settings. Format 2 files are auditioned one independent sequence at a time.

INSPECT THE FILE
Explore track and channel summaries, note ranges, tempo changes, time and key signatures, markers, structural findings and a channel-colored piano roll. The event desk includes tick positions and seconds. Metrical and SMPTE timing are supported, including independent format 2 sequence clocks.

EXPORT YOUR WORK
Share the untouched original, edited MIDI, or event CSV. A separate cleaned export can add missing End-of-Track events and close hanging notes when the file can be safely normalized. Untouched text and SysEx payload bytes are preserved during musical edits.

No account, subscription, in-app purchase, advertising or tracking. MIDI files and editing sessions remain local unless you choose to export or share them. No microphone recording or external MIDI transmission.
