About Syxloom: MIDI SysEx

NEW IN 4.0 — SNAPSHOT COMPARE
Save independent copies of selected messages before a session or repair. Compare snapshots by library identity or explicitly corresponding message order. Inspect added, removed, changed and unchanged records, complete byte counts and SHA-256 hashes; share a JSON report. Detail is bounded to 128 changed ranges per message. Keep up to 20 snapshots and 16 MiB of copied data in checked workspace backups. Snapshot workspaces require this release or later. Comparison never sends MIDI and does not decode patch addresses or prove hardware storage.

Keep your MIDI SysEx work organized, inspect the bytes, and review exactly what you are about to send.

CAPTURE AND INSPECT
Monitor chosen CoreMIDI sources, inspect complete and partial messages, and keep the reported source and termination details. Import .syx files, review framing and supported checksum layouts, and compare changed byte regions. Unknown device formats remain unverified.

A REVIEWED TRANSFER
Prepare a frozen plan with the destination, exact message order and effective pacing before confirming a send. Use remembered device pacing profiles, follow progress and cancel later messages. One transfer runs at a time. The app never silently replays an interrupted operation.

KEEP A RECEIPT
Review the latest 200 local transfer receipts with message hashes, destination, pacing and completion, cancellation or failure. CoreMIDI completion records the operating system's result; it does not prove the instrument received or stored a patch.

A RECOVERABLE WORKSPACE
Name and tag messages, add notes and build ordered send sets. Export the complete workspace, inspect a backup before replacing current work, and preserve original bytes when recovering unreadable storage. Backups include exact SysEx bytes and metadata. They are unencrypted; the integrity checksum detects accidental corruption and does not authenticate the author.

EXPLORE WITHOUT AN INSTRUMENT
Nine labeled sample messages and a capture walkthrough introduce the workbench. An explicitly offline pipeline check exercises validation, review, pacing and capture through an internal transport. It sends no MIDI and does not test hardware compatibility.

CONNECTIONS YOU CHOOSE
Use compatible CoreMIDI interfaces or endpoints supplied by the system and other apps. Optional Bluetooth MIDI pairing is available. Real capture and transmission require a compatible connection and the instrument's documented settings. Syxloom performs foreground MIDI work.

No account, subscription, in-app purchase, advertising, tracking or developer-operated upload service. Your library, profiles and receipts stay local unless you choose a connection or sharing destination.

SysEx can change device settings and stored patches. Follow the exact model's MIDI implementation and backup procedure. Syxloom does not certify firmware updates or automatically restore hardware.
