About Pantry Snap Pro

Pantry Snap Pro is a local-first pantry command center for people who want groceries to become meals instead of forgotten inventory.

Add food manually, scan barcodes, capture product labels, snap expiration dates, and keep every pantry, fridge, and freezer item searchable. Pantry Snap Pro organizes the work around what matters next: what expires first, what is already overdue, what can be used tonight, what should be prepped or frozen, and what should wait before another grocery run.

PRO BATCH PLAN
Version 3.1 adds a batch-planning layer inside Insights. Pantry Snap Pro now groups urgent items into practical routes: expired review, cook first, prep or freeze, and hold shopping. It also shows value at risk, same-day decisions, the two-day cook window, storage pressure, and prep windows so you can process multiple items in one kitchen session.

7-DAY RESCUE FORECAST
See what is likely to need attention this week. The rescue forecast ranks urgent food by expiration timing, storage location, category, and priority score, then suggests a short action plan.

BARCODE, OCR, AND QUICK ADD
Use the camera to scan common UPC, EAN, QR, and other barcode formats. Snap labels and expiration stamps with on-device text recognition, or skip the camera and add an item manually in seconds.

COOK WHAT YOU HAVE
Recipe matching looks at urgent ingredients and suggests meals from the bundled offline recipe list. The Use It Up workflow helps you mark finished food as used or wasted so Insights stays accurate.

SHOPPING LIST AND EXPORTS
Build a local shopping list, restock used items, export inventory to CSV, and keep a private history of what was saved or wasted.

STORAGE GUIDE
The offline storage guide helps compare pantry, fridge, and freezer shelf-life expectations for common food categories.

PRIVACY FIRST
Pantry Snap Pro does not require an account. Inventory, photos, barcode memory, reminders, shopping lists, and calculations stay on the device. There is no developer-run pantry cloud, advertising SDK, tracking SDK, or third-party analytics.
