About Cookbell
Cookbell is the timer you reach for when one countdown isn't enough.
Dinner is never just one thing. The eggs need six minutes, the pasta nine, the tea is steeping, and the bread is in the oven. A single timer makes you choose. Cookbell lets you run them all at once — each as a big, readable card with its own name, a live progress ring, the time remaining, and the exact time it will finish.
And when a timer is done, it actually tells you — even if your phone is locked or in your pocket. Every running timer schedules its own time-sensitive alert with a distinct sound, so you know at a glance (and by ear) which dish is ready.
ONE TAP TO START
Skip the fiddly setup. Tap a preset and a timer is running instantly:
• Soft, Medium and Hard Eggs
• Pasta, Rice, Quinoa, Risotto stir
• Green Tea, Black Tea, French Press, Pour Over
• Steak rest, Pizza, Bread, Roast Veg, Bacon
• Power Nap, Laundry, Focus Sprint, breaks and stretches
MAKE IT YOURS
Build a custom timer with simple hour/minute/second wheels, give it a name, pick one of eight alarm tones, choose a color and an icon — then save it as your own one-tap preset for next time.
A TONE FOR EVERY TIMER
Eight distinct alarm sounds — Classic Bell, Digital Beep, Soft Chime, Marimba, Alarm Buzz, Cuckoo, Deep Gong and Sonar Ping — so a quick listen tells you which timer finished without even looking.
TEMPERATURE & DONENESS GUIDE
The Cooking Guide now includes a Temps tab: 29 entries across beef, pork, poultry, fish and seafood, lamb, eggs, ham, and reheating — each with the USDA safe minimum, a chef's preferred target range, rest time, and visual doneness cues. Searchable. °F / °C toggle. All offline.
STOPWATCH MODE
Need to track how long something has been going rather than how long is left? Flip to Stopwatch in the Custom tab to start a count-up. Pause and resume, and the card shows elapsed time in the same ring layout.
TIMER HISTORY
Every completed timer is logged automatically — up to 50 entries. Open Settings → History to see what ran and when, and tap Run Again to re-use it instantly.
MEAL PRESETS
Build "Sunday Roast", "Ramen Night", or "Thanksgiving" once — give the meal a name and emoji, add each timer's duration, color, and alarm tone — then tap Start All to launch them all simultaneously. Edit or delete meals any time from the fork-and-knife icon in the Add Timer sheet.
SERVE TOGETHER PLANNING
Saved meals now include a serve-time board. Cookbell finds the longest item, shows when each shorter item should start, and can stage those shorter timers as automatic start reminders followed by the real cook timer. It is built for the part of dinner where pasta, vegetables, bread, sauce, and resting meat all need to land together.
SAVE COOKING GUIDE ITEMS AS PRESETS
Expand any entry in the Cooking Guide Timings tab and tap "Save Preset" to add it directly to Your Presets. A confirmation badge confirms the save — no manual entry needed.
ALTITUDE ADJUSTMENT FOR BOILING TIMES
Living above sea level? Go to Settings → Cooking Guide → My Elevation and choose your elevation tier. Eggs, pasta, and grains in the Timings guide are automatically adjusted using the CSU Extension formula (+30 sec per 1,000 ft). A mountain badge confirms the adjustment is active.
BUILT FOR REAL COOKING
• Pause, resume, reset, or add a minute on any timer
• Restart a finished timer with one tap
• Keep the screen awake while you cook

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Cookbell runs entirely on your device. There is no account to create, no network connection, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. Your timers are yours.
Whether you're plating a four-part dinner, brewing the perfect cup, timing a workout, or just remembering the laundry, Cookbell keeps every countdown in view and makes sure none of them slip by.
