Make Trials compares recorded yield and wheel progress across your cheese makes. Cave Backup adds a complete local workspace export with a checked, explicit restore process.

HOW TO USE THE UPGRADE
1. Open Make Trials, select makes and compare yield normalized to kilograms per 10 litres of milk.
2. Review original wheel mass, later weight change, recorded process context and care events. Export the comparison report.
3. Export a cave JSON backup from the backup controls. Keep the file somewhere safe outside the app.
4. Import a supported backup, review the preview and confirm replacement. A previous workspace copy is retained before restoration.

Continue recording milk, make, wheel and cave lineage, care tasks, salt calculations, process observations and tasting notes.

WHAT TO KNOW
Yield uses the original linked wheel mass; later weight changes are reported separately. Comparisons do not establish causes, validate recipes or determine food safety. Backup import is limited to schema 1, 16 MB and supported record limits; invalid references or values block restoration. Restoration replaces the entire current workspace after confirmation. Temperature and humidity use separate charts.
