The recipe makes four servings and you need six, so out comes the calculator and the mental math over cups and tablespoons. Yieldpan is a recipe scaler that skips that step: paste any recipe, set the number of servings you actually want, and it rewrites every ingredient with the correct scaled amount.

It uses real cooking math instead of ugly decimals, so you get half and three-quarter cups rather than 0.666. When scaling would leave you with something like one and a half eggs, it suggests rounding up and shows the original figure so you can still trust the bake. The parser reads free-form recipes using cups, grams, ounces, milliliters, temperatures, and more, and tolerates fractions, ranges, and section headers.

Tap any line to see it expressed in every equivalent unit, including volume-to-weight for over thirty-five common ingredients, which is handy for pulling gram measurements out of an American cup recipe. A stepper re-scales the whole list as you go, presets cover half, double, and quadruple, and you can copy the scaled list as plain text or reopen recent recipes from a history tab.

Yieldpan does one job and keeps it on your device, with no account, no ads, and no tracking, for a single $0.99 purchase.

About Yieldpan: Recipe Scaler

Turn your weighed formula into manageable mixes, record actual weights and ingredient additions, and resume preparation without losing your place.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open Tools, then Mix Sheets. Explore the clearly labeled roll-prep example or enter the gram weights of your tested formula.
2. Choose the number and unbaked weight of portions plus a working mix capacity appropriate for your equipment. The run is split into balanced mixes with ingredient weights rounded to 0.1 g.
3. Record each ingredient as added and optionally enter its actual net weight. Switch mixes, save notes, share the full sheet, or repeat with a fresh run that clears all progress.

Existing recipe scaling, unit and density conversion, yield planning, baker percentages, pan tools, cost calculations, recipe history and reference tools remain available. Mix runs store their own formula snapshots separately.

WHAT TO KNOW
Unbaked mixture weights only, not finished baked weights or cooking instructions. Use a tested formula and suitable equipment capacity and scale resolution. No automatic density, food-safety or cooking-time decisions. Up to 30 ingredients, 50 mixes per run and 50 saved runs; 100 kg total run limit. Very small ingredients that round to zero are rejected.
