About Daystead

Daystead is a calm, large-display day card for families and care teams supporting someone who benefits from clear orientation cues and a predictable daily routine.

Leave Daystead running on an iPad or iPhone on the kitchen counter, bedside table, or living room shelf. It shows the weekday in huge friendly type, the full date, the time of day in plain English, a season orientation strip, the next routine item, and the full plan for today.

Caregiver tools include:

- Giant weekday and date display
- Friendly morning, afternoon, evening, and nighttime wording
- Optional caregiver note that clears at midnight
- Seven-day routine editor with timed or untimed entries
- Full day plan shown directly on the Today screen
- Quiet Hours night face for low-glare overnight display
- Keep-screen-awake option while the app is open
- Optional family photo stored on device
- Share weekly schedule
- New caregiver handoff report with today’s note, today’s plan, quiet-hours setup, display settings, and the weekly routine
- Display sizes and high-contrast themes for easier reading
- Built-in reference links for caregiving and sleep/sundowning information

Daystead is private by design. It does not require an account, does not include ads, does not include analytics SDKs, and does not track users across apps or websites. Routine data, display settings, notes, and the optional photo stay on the device unless the caregiver chooses to share a schedule or handoff report with the iOS share sheet.

Daystead is an orientation and routine display. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor, or replace professional medical or caregiving advice.
