If you train in intervals — HIIT, Tabata, EMOM, boxing rounds, a quick circuit — you are usually moving, not watching a screen. Intervo is an interval timer built around that. Every phase change is a distinct vibration you feel without looking: a sharp double-pulse for work, a soft single for rest, a light count-in for the last three seconds, and a ramp at the finish, backed by audio cues.
It keeps the screen awake so the countdown is there whenever you do glance down, and it ducks your own music for a cue rather than stopping it. The clock is anchored to real wall-clock time, so taking a call or switching apps mid-set won't leave the timer drifting out of sync.
Five formats are ready the moment you open it, from Tabata to three-round boxing, and the editor lets you build your own — add steps, drag to reorder, set each duration, label them, and choose the repeats and rest between sets, with the total time updating as you go.
It is $0.99 once. No ads, no subscription, no account, and no network connection at all — your workouts and preferences live on the phone and nothing is collected.
About Intervo: HIIT Interval Timer
Generate an ascending, descending or pyramid interval workout with optional rest, preparation and cooldown, then save the full timeline as an editable workout.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open Session Ladder from Home. Choose a shape, number of levels, first work interval and per-level increment.
2. Add optional rest and bookends. Review the complete timeline and total duration before saving.
3. Save as an editable workout, review the plan and use the existing workout runner when ready.
Existing workout editing, interval running, history and settings remain available. Generated intervals are stored together in a single transaction, preserving their order and exact durations.
WHAT TO KNOW
Up to 12 levels and two hours total. A pyramid includes its peak once. Zero-length optional stages are omitted. Rest after the final work stage is optional. The generated workout is a timer plan, not a prescribed exercise program.
