About Quitstone

Quitstone is a private, offline counter and recovery journal for habits, substances, spending patterns, or routines you are leaving behind, including smoking, alcohol, soda, sugar, vaping, doomscrolling, and more.

Add multiple quits with a quit date, category, optional cost, and optional frequency. Quitstone shows a live counter, estimated money saved, time reclaimed, current and best streaks, milestones, check-ins, restart history, and a weekly insight summary.

Version 2.0 adds a source-linked recovery evidence library:
* Citation cards inside the app for smoking, alcohol, caffeine, sugar, cannabis, craving support, progress math, and privacy.
* Tappable source links from the Recovery Timeline and Settings.
* Clear safety notes for health-adjacent timelines, including alcohol withdrawal and severe-symptom guidance.
* Refreshed source library screenshots and app metadata.

Core tools include:
* Live Streak: pin a quit to the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island with streak, savings, and next milestone progress.
* Recovery Timeline: offline, source-attributed milestones for general wellness context. Individual recovery varies and this information is not medical advice.
* Craving SOS: box breathing, an urge timer, coping prompts, and personal reasons.
* Check-ins and Insights: mood trend, trigger breakdown, and a 28-day activity calendar.
* Honest restart handling: log a slip, keep prior attempts, and preserve your best-ever streak.
* Local reminders, JSON export/import, App Intents, VoiceOver labels, Dynamic Type support, and Reduce Motion handling.

Quitstone stores data locally on the device. There is no account requirement, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, cloud sync, or developer server.
